Lingusamy’s ‘Paiyaa’ has received an overwhelming response from the audience.

‘Paiyaa’ is scheduled to release on April 2nd Friday, and soon after the advance booking counters were opened, the tickets for the opening weekend have been sold out in and around Chennai.

Reports have it that within one hour of counters being opened, the tickets have said to be sold out. Sources at multiplexes in Chennai say that even the online booking has received tremendous response.

With ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ being a mass opener before, ‘Paiyaa’’s response will surely make Karthi grow as a saleable actor.

The movie is expected to do similar business in Kerala, Bengaluru and Mumbai. ‘Paiyaa’ is produced by Tirupathi Brothers and is released by Dhayanidhi Alagiri’s Cloud Nine Productions.
